Dog shelters in Romania differ from those in the United States. The dogs are frequently kept outside in unfavorable conditions. Because of Romania’s poverty, the shelters do not receive enough food from donations, which prevents the dogs from eating as much as they should.
Bella was scared and underweight. She had never received a hug or any affection before. Her stay at the shelter was destroying her spirit. In the video below, Bella is taken out of the shelter by the Romanian rescue group Howl Of A Dog in order to find her a permanent home.
Bella was really worn out. Employees at the shelter claim that Bella had trouble falling asleep. She struggled to feel secure in her kennel. As she sits there getting petted, her eyes start to close. It’s nice to see her finally unwind.
Then Bella does something incredibly kind. She rests her head on the lap of her savior. While they are driving to the veterinarian’s clinic, she can nap. The woman sitting next to her appears kind and friendly, and the car is quiet and serene. This is exactly what Bella needs. It’s important for dogs to feel safe.
Since this film was being recorded, Bella has found a permanent home and is living a happy life. Please let people know about Bella’s brief story and video. Everyone should be present to see a shelter dog’s first moments of peace. Giving homes to dogs who are already in shelters and need affection is essential.
